NORMAN H. FINKELSTEIN
MEET THE AUTHOR
Norman H. Finkelstein was an educator, author and historian. At the time of his unexpected death in January 2024, he was a retired public school librarian. He also taught courses on children's literature and history for 38 years at Hebrew College in Newton, Massachusetts. He held graduate and undergraduate degrees from both Hebrew College and Boston University. Norman was the author of twenty-three highly acclaimed nonfiction books, the last two of which were published posthumously in 2024. He was the recipient of two National Jewish Book Awards and the Golden Kite Honor Book for Nonfiction. His books have received starred reviews in leading journals and newspapers and recognition from professional groups.
